I recently purchased a 201* 435 IXdrive M sport BMW and I have had this car only a little over a month and noticed the stitching pulling below as shown in the photos attached. I also noticed the seat has a patch of the leather which has been ripped.

The car is still under factory warranty. I have attempted to resolve this issue with BMW Rockville location and I was told i needed to get in contact with customer relations myself to fix this issue. After speaking to Josh ID: 7691 he was able to file a complaint as requested and stated I should either take the vehicle to another location which is not convenient for me distance wise and also to contact Scott Cascone (301)- 232-****. I did contact Scott on June 26th and was not able to speak to him and left a voicemail and have recieved no response.

I am very disappointed in the type of customer service i have recieved in store and via phone because no one has a clear answer on how to go about fixing the defaulted seat. Absolutely no one is able to help me with this issue no matter the factory warranty. I am very appalled in this unhelpful service from BMW.

The stitching is obviously coming apart and will begin ripping and has already created a patch as shown which was not able to be done by clothing or just by wear and tear. This is not acceptable by any means and I would appreciate receiving a call (240-422-****) or email (akramgeries@***.com) to help me resolve this issue immediately.

So what has happened to it in the nearly 4 years of its life ? Was some fat guy the first owner ?

That would qualify as abuse. The car not only qualifies as used, but as an older used car to boot. Has it had more than one owner prior to you ? Anything could have happened.

Damage of any sort.

Maybe it got wet. That sort of item will not be repaired under warranty unless you're the original owner and certainly with limitations.
